Cable Shovel Dippers
Open pit mine operators now have a new source for the highest quality dippers for cable shovels. In collaboration with our sister company, Castech Metallurgy Inc., and our team of engineers and technicians, we can supply custom designed dippers to meet your specific mining operations and maintenance. Whatever your needs, we can quickly design and assemble a custom dipper from 12 to 80 cubic yards.
Since 1994, the Castech / Plessitech group has delive red dippers on many continents: North America, Central America, South America, Africa, China, Russia, etc. Our dippers have demonstrated superior performances in terms of availability and fill factors, and unequaled durability in all types of mining operations and climates.
Today, we are still offering completely cast manganese dippers. However, the majority of our dippers are castwelded assemblies of alloy steels. With the assistance of 3D solid modeling, the precision of our assemblies are unequaled.
Dipper Exchange Program
For many years, Plessitech has been retrofitting dippers for different mines. The objective of the dipper exchange program is to allow mining companies to have operational dippers for each shovel without taking care of the rebuilt. The program is conceived to make sure each shovel receives a rebuilt dipper following an establish schedule. Plessitech takes care to ship a dipper to the mine site on time to make sure that there’s no loss of production during the dippers exchange.
When a retrofit dipper is brought to the mine, Plessitech takes the used dipper for repair in exchange. That dipper will then be rebuilt and returned in operation for another shovel. Also, Plessitech offers on site technical support with the program with regular visits.
Remplacement Parts
Plessitech also produces the usual replacement parts for dippers and shovels: lip assemblies, lip-front assemblies, lower doors and complete doors, door latch mechanism components (latch lever and latch bar), liners, bushings and pins, track shoes, drive tumblers, idlers, racking, etc.
